Vintage 18k yellow and white gold “Eagle and Fish” brooch by Roy Sarkin, stamped 750 and signed. Modelled as an eagle in flight with a fish clasped in its talons, the feathers and fish set with round brilliant cut diamonds, the eagle finished with ruby eyes.

Late 20th century. A powerful sculptural design reflecting Sarkin’s well known appreciation for wildlife and dynamic animal forms. Comparable examples of this model have appeared at leading auction houses.
