The gilt three quarter plate keyless wind and pin set, fully jewelled, going barrel movement with lever escapement, compensation balance with free sprung blue steel over coil hairspring, diamond end stone and screwed in jewelling. Signed James Ballantyne & Son. 52 Virginia St, Glasgow. White enamelled dial with Roman numerals and gold hands, the chapter ring split into 1/5th seconds shown by the chronograph centre seconds flyback hand. A separate subsidiary flyback dial below twelve for 30 minute chronograph recording and separate continuous seconds dial above six. The sprung front cover flips open via the winding button release as it should and the round gold button for the chronograph at twelve is auto disabled when the front cover is closed. This watch is in very nice condition, it works well and keeps good time. A perfect gift or addition to any collection.
