Watch & Clock Guarantee

At Ian Burton Antiques, we stand by the quality of our timepieces. Every antique watch and clock purchased from us is backed by a 1-Year Mechanical Guarantee, effective from the date of purchase.

What’s Covered:

  • Internal mechanical faults (e.g. timekeeping issues, movement failure)
  • Mechanical issues not caused by misuse, accidental damage, or water exposure (unless the item is stated as water-resistant)

What’s Not Covered:

  • Routine servicing or battery replacement
  • Cosmetic wear and tear (e.g. surface scratches, patina, aging dials)
  • Any tampering or repairs carried out by third parties without our prior approval

If a mechanical issue arises within the guarantee period, please get in touch. We’re happy to recommend trusted specialists or arrange a return for inspection if needed.
