A Rare Satinwood Drumhead Longcase Clock by Wilson & Sharp, Edinburgh – Circa 1900

A superb example of a late Victorian Scottish drumhead longcase clock, crafted in finely figured satinwood and richly painted with neoclassical motifs, floral garlands, ribbons, and female figures. Made circa 1900 by Wilson & Sharp, prominent Edinburgh watchmakers and jewellers who operated from 139 Princes Street and later became part of Mappin & Webb. This clock combines elegant proportions, refined artistry, and horological sophistication, making it a rare collector’s piece.
