This exceptional miniature longcase clock stands at just 55 inches tall — less than half the height of standard examples — making it an unusual and rare version of a design more commonly seen at full scale. Crafted around 1900, this piece was made in London for Le Roy & Fils, the prestigious retailer at 57 New Bond Street. The case is richly inlaid and highly decorative, while the sophisticated three-train movement delivers quarter Westminster chimes. We've handled many full-size examples over the years, but never one quite like this.
