Antique French gilt brass striking carriage clock, Circa 1900

Eight-day movement striking the hours and the halves on a gong with original silvered platform lever escapement.
Silvered engine turned rectangular dial with arch top, Arabic numeral chapter ring and blued steel hands.
The case with hinged carrying handle above arched and bevel-glazed front and side windows and acanthus cast fluted column uprights to angles, on skirt base applied with foliate mounts to front and standing on bracket feet.

5 inches / 13 cm high excluding handle,
6.75 inches / 17 cm high with handle up,
3.25 inches / 8 cm wide,
3.25 inches / 9 cm deep.
