A beautiful antique mahogany cased bracket clock from James Duncan, Old Bond Street, London, Circa 1825. Standing on brass feet the mahogany case features inlayed  ebony mouldings, out set corners with brass bound cluster columns, a steep triangular pediment with carved thistle, heart hands and a wall bracket scroll support for easy mounting on a wall. This clock can be placed on a desk/table or wall. Enamel convex dial signed, Duncan, Old Bond St, London with strike / silent lever, fine pierced steel heart hands and decorated cast bezel. An 8- day fusee movement with shaped plates, engraved border, anchor escapement and heavy engraved pendulum, striking the hours on a bell.

Dimensions: 16 inches high, 11.5 inches wide, 7 inches deep.
